I learned a lot from the experience and was able to apply it to Minehut. If it weren't for prohost I would have never successfully made the multi-server-box system, which has been a core part of Minehut.

Has Mojang shutdown any servers for the EULA? I don't see them doing something like that anytime soon. Pretty sure they made the EULA to cover their ass in the off chance some pissed off parent tries to sue them.
It would be perfectly legal. In just about all U.S. states, video games are classified as "games of skill", meaning its not technically gambling. Thats also why huge Fantasy Football sites exist that are handing out millions per year.
