Agreed! If you just want normal vanilla survival. to answer this entire thread with proof: (You can find more by extracting it) Minecraft didn't obfuscate some classes because they also need to code the client too- MrChayut

Authentication plugin
I recommend JPremium (from my experience owning a cracked Minecraft network), they're not cheap, but it does worth it. They even provide antibot (ImageOnMap, Google re-captcha) too, which is important for most cracked minecraft servers as they get raided so often...- MrChayut

From my experience (owning 1 Minecraft server/network) I think the best way to run a server with plugins is Paper Spigot (Tunity if you running 1.15+ or higher) PaperSpigot adds a few methods to allow developers to easily develop their plugins without accessing the NMS at all for example...- MrChayut

Mojang uses Name Obfuscation technique to protect their product from being leaked or reverse engineered. I think he wanna make a custom fork or something- MrChayut
