Auto Reconnector 1.8.9 and 1.12

There's a mod created by the developer of 5zig called the Auto Reconnector, I couldn't get it working with my 1.8.9 forge so i'm assuming something is wrong or it might just need updating. If someone could update this to 1.8.9 and 1.12 that would be great, if someone is able to check this out...
