I mean, it really depends if you want a fast paced gamemode (kitpvp) or a seasonal one like factions.
If you go for something like kitpvp, id do something like each kit has multiple abilities and not just boring old armour ect :)
I would also say Events are a big part of a kitpvp server. Maybe...
You can do many things, If your good at coding, give that a try! If your good at designing websites, try that.
Theres a job for everyone, weather its a normal one or an online one to do with minecraft ect.
