    He disabled root? Ez fix, navigate to /etc/passwd and remove the line that says /usr/sbin/nologin so it should look like the following root:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash Instead of root:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash:/usr/sbin/nologin
