Hey {{user}}, thank you for purchasing the Discord Bot addon for IONIC Tiers!
Attached to this conversation you'll find the Discord bot files. This bot connects to your website's built-in API so your testers can submit and manage tier results straight from Discord (like /result), and your site updates automatically.
What's included:
The full Discord bot source files
A config/.env file for your settings
Setup instructions
How to set it up:
1) Create your bot
Go to the Discord Developer Portal and create a new application + bot
Copy the bot token
Invite the bot to your server
2) Configure the bot
Open the config / .env file
Add your bot token
Add your website URL
Add the same DISCORD_BOT_API_KEY you set on your website (both sides must match)
3) Run the bot
Run "npm install" inside the bot folder
Start it with "npm start" (or "node index.js")
The bot will connect to your site and the commands will be ready to use
Make sure your website is already installed and running, since the bot talks to its API. If you don't have it set up yet, the Installation & Setup addon covers that.
If you run into any issues or have questions, just reply here and I'll help you out.
Thanks again for your purchase!
