Hi,

I just saw you bumped this and it lead to me having a look....being a competitor and all

One thing I wondered is that I see you have a metric in your footer "Page took X seconds to load".

I wonder, out of curiosity, what is this value? Running the site on web.dev/measure yielded much slower results than the values I see your site reports ( usually 0.02-0.09 seconds).

Coupled with that, the results I see inspecting the site in the network tab are again, much less than the value your site shows:

(telling me page took 0.07 yet chrome took 24 seconds to load the home page in its entirety)


I get that this value, ~24 seconds, is all resources, and the interactive time was much lower than this. But it was still way beyond 0.07 seconds. There is also a considerable amount of resources (58mb).

Of course, you don't have to answer, but I was just wondering; what is this (unbelievably) fast metric its using to say the page load took?
