Hello, I am the sole owner of MineOnward and I have had this project paused and untouched for over a year now. Around a month ago I got the motivation to build it out and create a well thought out player experience. Over the course of the last few weeks I have put a good amount of money and time into getting it release ready, which I believe I am around the 80% stage. The last 20% is mostly building out the webstore, promotion and marketing, and some last bits of clean up in-game.
At this point, I am looking for a few people to come in and help out with the community as we launch and get rolling. The main goal is to have a tight group of 3-5 Moderators who can handle just about anything support wise that players may need. This will range from basic support requests, to player reports and disputes, to webstore issues - I do not expect Moderators to help with anything on the server's backend!
I am keeping the server relatively simplistic when it comes to roles, I don't have any "Trainee" or "Helper" roles and I don't have a promotion ladder. If your goal is titles and growing into Administrative roles, this probably is not the project for you. However, for those who are interested in becoming a pillar of a community and fostering a really peaceful experience... I would love to hear from you!
The Moderation team is responsible for all things player support, meaning there is more access and trust given in this role than on typical servers. Moderators will handle webstore conflicts, ban appeals, and player disputes. Moderators will also have a good amount of command access in-game to assist players without needing to "escalate" issues to an Administrator. I will be dedicating between 15 and 25 % of server profits to be split between Moderators each month but I cannot offer consistent pay at this time.
Fairly straight-forward, I would ask those who are interested to please join the Discord server and add me as a friend on Discord, from there we can chat more about the role. Training would just consist of a voice call to show you the server and it's features, discuss expectations, and go over the Moderation systems.
- Moderators should be fairly active, hours are not tracked but there should be regular activity in-game and on discord.
- Moderators do need to be able to join voice calls when necessary, mainly for our training session and for events.
- Moderators should be comfortable asking questions and clarifying, there is always room to learn!
- Moderators must keep a clean and positive presence, no vulgar or sensitive topics on your accounts and conversations with players must be kept clean and professional.
