I'm looking for a 4gb server with 1-2 dedicated vcores with ssds or nvmes for under $10 per month. CPU must be ryzen 7 or 9, or intel i7 or i9 and must be hosted in the us or Canada. Basically looking for something priced like what bloom.host offers (us nodes are sold out. sad).

We're just about to release our VDS lineup. Feel free to reach out to me on discord LeNerd#6969 and we will price match and outperform any other host :)

If you need dedicated cores, buy a dedicated server. Dedicating cores to clients is not profitable for hosts unless if they buy an absolute trash CPU with a bunch of cores but a very low clock speed.

Unless if you sell for an incredibly high markup, you’re only going to have a few clients per server - even if it’s a 16 core server. In a “best case” scenario with each client needing only two cores, that’s only eight people per server.

In another best case, put the server at $150/month and that’s over $18 per client in a best case scenario for the company to break even on the server with no profit.

Not to mention that the more cores you add to a CPU, the lower the clock speed becomes.

$25/month for 2 real cores is quite a lot to draw people in on solely the promise of dedicated cores, especially if you’re already a budget provider like us.

Resource abuse isn’t really much of an issue if you use KVM, limit bandwidth, and set a maximum network in/out to prevent DDOSing from within your network.

I meant in terms of cores >16 cores, enterprise-grade Xeons. You can see that the 3950x is a 100mhz lower base clock. When you get into CPUs of much higher core counts, the clock speed just is unsuitable for any VPS or VDS application.

Point is, I’m a simple person. If you need dedicated cores, you get a dedicated server. If you don’t need them, then you get a VPS. VDS is still a grey area that I don’t see much profit in it for us at the moment.

Hi there! The company TekkNodes offers just what you need!

Canada Hosting with the specs of an I7 7700k, our cost per Gb is 2.25 per, So with 4gb server it's $9! And i'll even slap in a discount for you for your first 3 months if you decide to join us! Right now i have the Canada servers full, but i have 4gb room left to squeeze you into! Feel free to get in contact with us on our discord at https://discord.gg/HxFkDhTn5b
