Hello there.
Just as 2015 wraps up it’s time for an announcement. Over the past 101 days of me owning MC-Market it has been quite a journey and I have not expected any of it to turn out like it has. Over the past 100 days, there have been many mistakes made and I take full responsibility for them all. Going into MC-Market from an administrator’s perspective, I could never begin to imagine how difficult it was going to be to try and keep the whole community happy.
In the past week or so, I have made many terrible decisions and failed to be transparent to all of you, which is the worst mistake of all. For this reason I am stepping down from my administrative duties, effective immediately. Instead, tjrgg and Ajdin will be taking my place and managing MC-Market. Starting today, both of these users will be filling in for me and making the decisions, with me accepting them if they are major. Just like the old arrangement with Verringer, I will be managing payment and advertisement related things and they will be managing the changes, announcements, the staff team and any of your PMs.
To add on to this, Linux has been unbanned from MC-Market as he has helped us fix several security flaws we had with our system. If you don’t agree with this decision, I understand. I made this decision myself and it’s no other person’s fault than mine. 2-factor authentication is no longer compulsory, but we highly suggest you keep it enabled.
Thank you for understanding. I hope that in the future, MC-Market can be everything I had hoped for.
Mick
