A LOAN IS FINAL ONCE THE MONEY IS SENT!!

Recently I loaned Paradise $6 for a payback of $8 a week later. However, after I sent him the money 5 min later he no longer needed it and refunded it and claimed he didn't owe the ROI. I think it's bs that a user can cancel the loan 5 min cause of an issue they had. The rule should be once the money is sent the loan is active. None of this "5 min grace period" bs. What do you guys think?

It's annoying nonetheless, and

It could be argued that in this situation avsterbone is the 'seller' and whoever is requesting the loan is the 'buyer'. They requestion the loan, and essentially requested that they purchase this money for a fee of $2 and then decided to back out of it.
After looking at Scam Reports, in specific, CakeMC. This user backed out of a trade last second and received warning points as a punishment. I feel in this case it is also backing out of a trade.


It isn't the fact he lost 5 minutes, he essentially lost 2 dollars and he cant just make up money as you seem to state, can you please tell me how you could make $2 'many times over' in the time that this thread was written?

how he could have made it back? idk what he does for a living, but if it had been me I could have spent the 3 hours since this thread has been made building something or making a WP map, which would mean an additional $20 or more once it sold.

Are you kidding? This whole thread because you didn't get a measly $2? How do 18 people agree with you about this? You didn't lose any money. Nobody should be required to give you anything extra if you loan them money, especially if they give you it back 5 minutes later. Paradise made a mistake and no longer needed the loan, so he gave you back the money you loaned him. He doesn't owe you shit. You lost nothing, he lost nothing, the problem was solved.

Sure he could have made that money but he could have had made $22 instead of $20 in your case

still not worth this entire fuss. Also, as I have said, the suggestion itself is valid, there just needs to be a certain cooldown before it enforces (an hour or so? Idk).

It's called being reasonable.

He took out a loan for a specific reason. He wasn't able to use the money for what he wanted to use it for, and so less than five minutes later he gave you the money back.

If it had been like a day since he took the loan, then okay, I'd see where you're coming from. If he comes back literally five minutes after he sends you it and says you can have the money back, then you should just accept it and move on.

It's two dollars. I don't know why you're making such a big deal about it.

In super technically with the rules, Paradise did back off the deal. Although, it is only $2 for ROI and 5 minutes. It does break the rules of McM. Here where things get clouded a bit for the community. We do not know what Paradise loan also what is the loan about. We also don't know the deal between avsterbone and Paradise. If there was a resolution for the deal between avsterbone and Paradise, there is no reason for the ROI being returned then if a solution was made. Things would be different if a solution wasn't made.

This suggestion is iffy. I can see why you want to put this avsterbone because you want to make your money back asap. Now, we all just kids on a Minecraft forum that we shouldn't be able to do loans in the first place anyways. We are not banks. We are human beings with logic for the world. I personally do not know if I want it or not. Like In my perspective, what if the person knew that he/she was poor and cannot pay back the loan. He/She just refunded straight away after receiving payment knowing the fact of them being poor. I as a lender would understand that from the get-go between 5-55 minutes. You all shouldn't be so greedy for money that bad for loaning money to the person. You need to think in their shoes if you ask money. Yea, people could lie, but so what you just move on with your life acting like nothing happen.

Now here come a bit off topic discussion for a little bit.

Extra note: Once a loan is made, it's settled. Even refunding a second later, they will charge the interest. That's what the staff here don't understand and think that they know more about something they never researched... Like investments.

No because I fight for what's right. Bebosny telling him to "file a police report" and keeping Paradise here was a dick move. He needs to pay it back. Otherwise you're opening the doors to more scamming and on Loans now.
If this your goal, then keep doing what you are.

So what? You want to get a person banned for $2. Yes, it did break the rules but if Paradise explains why he didn't need the loan that would be okay. Plus, he returns the loan like straight away.

Now you understand why I constantly go against staff. They don't know much and can't accept that.

The staff can learn from their mistakes and move on with the forums. If you really want to contribute to staff, just join the staff team and train them then. There is no reason to go against with staff if you just talk to them. Pms, Ts, skype are all ways to at least communicate with staff if you have a problem. They will listen if they have time. I know that because this happens to me a couple times.

I just going remain neutral for this suggestion and see where this suggestion for its fate then. There is one thing certain. Stop jumping to conclusion with long or reasonable posts people. There is a secret and reasonable meaning every time a staff member posted something that is related to the topic. Anyways that is just my long opinion with this suggestion.

Yea? I've offered advice, I've offered to help. I rather watch this shit drop because staff think they know what they're doing. I've even tried to pm them and tell them ideas, especially when Rocket was Admin. Mick looked at it one night, didn't give feedback. It had logical ideas,fixes,pros and cons, legit suggestions that would benefit mcm.

Sure I could offer it to Bebosny. But the look of how Bebosny handles suggestions, I don't feel like bothering honestly. He could contact me if he feels like, but I don't like the way hes been handling things.

Note: The users that think I bitch and argue all the time, know there's a reason that many know. The others don't know and think I argue and criticize people just because and I'm a horrible person.

You will never know how BeBosny react to suggestion if you pm him about it. There is always a chance of unpredictability for everyone. Don't assume that from the get-go. At least, try to pm BeBosny before starting make statements.
