Hey everyone, I was wondering if someone could code a HCF style PvP protection plugin just like kohi has. This is a commonly searched for plugin therefore could also make you (the developer) more money in the future if it is put on spigot. What this plugin needs to have is
- 2 User commands -/pvp enable, and /pvp time.
- A few admin commands allowing administrators to turn off players protection or turn it on.
- the plugin needs to prevent players under Pvp protection from going into faction land. This would mean it would create a red glass barrier around other faction claims. This red glass barrier idea has been implemented in the plugin combattagplus if you want to see how it should work.
- This plugin will need a semi configurable config allowing the owner to set the protection time, and allowing the owner to choose if the player receives Pvp protection when they respawn.
If you need more information about what this plugin needs you can add my skype @patmangames
I can also make a video explaining how this plugin should work. Otherwise, you can check out the plugin in action on kohi.us (factions).
Hope someone can tackle this plugin. And if you want to make this plugin tell me what you what to sell it for.

Is it possible for anyone to do this. I'll pay like 10-15$. Not to mention the fact that everyone making an HCF server needs this so it could be big money.

There's no point in making an HCF server as many already exist. Why don't you spend your time and money on something unique instead of copying what was one server and now plenty.

I'm no "kid" thank you. If you want this added on why don't you ask the Developer of the plugin. I don't think anyone would like to work for someone with an attitude like yours.

Maccas you hoesntly. just being a hypcrite now and not wanting people to bother making hcf serveres because you say that they "shouldnt"
you expect an aufactions server that gets 10 -15 people on a day that runs of 4gbp's and cant even upload maxing out your internet. the funny thing is lilmac. i opened my server for 2 hours. in that two hours we got more players then you server ever did. lmfao.
AUFactions was the only Australian HCF released till others decided to make their own. AUFactions gets more than "10-15" players per day. The current map has been 1 month in and some players have quit due to being either insided or going raidable.

yes, you may have opened a server within two hours but mine had over 80 players, and counting trying to join when it first released so unlease you can top that I suggest you not to bring it up. Not to mention that whenever a new server comes out people join, play then leave because they're just playing the same thing over and over again.

AUFactions runs on more than "4GB", it actually happens to run on 6GB Server which costs $120 per month but since I have a sponsorship deal with my hosting company I don't have to pay a single cent, including the 4GB server I also own which is Australian because as many of us know Australian servers aren't cheap like US or EU servers.

"Can't even upload maxing out your internet", Well firstly my internet doesn't get "maxed out", it just so happens that my upload speed is terrible and I have no motivation to upload daily or active content on my youtube channel.

The main reason why I stated not to bother making another HCF server is because it's just a remake of what happened to SoupPvP for example, McPvP, then MCTeams was made which over-took McPvP's Raid server(s). Now it's Shotbow then HCTeams, not sure who's better out of the two as I don't play either. Another example is Kohi and their Practice Server(s), now a lot of people are making these HCF servers which is splitting up the community.

All I'm trying to say is he'd be best off making something unique which will create a new community within his unique gamemode.

Also on the side note TehZaynn, I think it'd be best if you learnt to spell correctly before trying to start an argument with someone who has a lot more experience than yourself. Adios.

120$ on a 6GB Server? That's outrageously high. A 32GBDDR3 | Intel Xeon Quad-core 3.6Ghz | 2x 3.000GB SATA HDD with 1000Mbit/s bandwith and unlimited traffic is around 65$ per month. The costs add up if you get your host to do things for you, which you certainly don't need. You'd rather be paying a server administrator to take care of things for you for a setup fee, instead of paying that much a month.

Just my two cents ^_^
Well once again, Australian servers are not cheap opposed to US & EU servers, it's about double the price but on the plus side I don't pay a single cent to my monthly bills as I stated I'm sponsored by the hosting company.
