This is really needed, as sometimes we want to look up a user if their name is changed.

http://mc-market.org/members/18176

So in the banlist, you could search the ID, which in this case would be '18176'.

And how would this be useful? I don't see it being useful enough to get custom developed.

It's not like you save UID's and use them for future reference. Besides, I'm trying to keep the bans as simplistic as possible. The banned member page isn't really something a forum should actually have at all, so I don't think we should work on 'improving' it either.

This seems like another suggestion for the sake of it.

The main use is when, for example:

Reason is: Ban evading (http://mc-market.org/members/21231)

We can't view a banned user's profile, and I'd like to know who that user was.

This shouldn't happen.

I've brought this up to the moderator team to remind them that they need to enter the username and not the URL.

Any other reason this should be implemented?

Yeah, when you don't know that a user changed their name, and you only know the UID. We could also make it a requirement to enter the UID in a scam report.

Why would you know the UID of the user?.. It's not like you store them in a separate document.

We could also make it a requirement to enter the UID in a scam report.
You're already submitting the URL of the member's profile which contains the UID.

I really don't see a reason to invest time and resources into implementing this feature.

Fair enough, go and lock this, this isn't needed as long as you tell the moderators to fix the ban reasons :p
