Add New Reps Section

Alright. Simple. Since this community can't agree on shit about the reputation system, add to sections when adding a reputation. Either "Opinion/feedback" or "deal/transaction". Would clean this mess up.

Would be good for situations like yours but what if some guy is being extremely toxic? Telling you mean and rude things on a constant basis, you going to let others users just stand and let that happen? No.

But should have different sections for transactions and opinions tbh.

I believe a good solution to this issue is having a separated reputation system where deal related points be issued and displayed on the profile preview and a secondary system for remarks / opinionated comments. This opinionated section should be neither positive or negative and just serve as some warning to whomever decides to deal with the user. Then separate rules between the two systems. The only fault I can see is the fact it may cause more need for moderation which we all know MC-Market does not need right now.

This may require a bit more moderation, but it will clean the shit out of the community. And allow people who have been neg repped from opinions to be trusted again.

I meant it as the whole situation with the scam reports and the fact they need it there and cannot seem to get that under control adding more moderation needs would cause much more chaos.

Honestly a much better solution. Would make it so they would actually consider the content and who made the report. :tup:

When I mean moderation I mean more staff members and general moderation of the forums. Right now it may not be needed but definitely in the future it is

I don't think we have any intentions to add a system to distinguish easily between deals and opinion reputations, they are both equally valid and splitting them up into two different systems would just be a worse idea than using just a deals system (which we're not gonna do)
