Add PayPal back as a payment method for purchasing on site ranks/advertisements

While I think it is great MCM is adding a new way for people to be able to buy ranks and advertising, there is no reason why PayPal shouldn't still stay as a payment method. Its not only my preferred payment method but it should increase sales as other people use it as well. If this is temporary then just inform me, but if this is permeant then that should be reversed and PayPal should be an option.

Nobody really benefits out of this. PayPal is a terrible service for most of this forum because most of it is digital goods, so it's prone to a lot of chargebacks. It's not good for either side.

PayPal has been known for effectively closing accounts due to this to the guilty and the innocent.

With PayPal charging extra fees for business transactions, Mick wouldn't get as much money.

Therefore: I disagree.

It benefits people who only have PayPal, or have PayPal balance which a lot of people have. Not to mention bitcoin is somewhat unstable so that’s loss of money and stripe has the same fees or more depending on chargeback protection. If it’s an issue of his account being closed then I agree, but if it’s just because some people done like it, then don’t ruin it for people who prefer it.

It's because paypal doesn't like Mick. As a site owner, he doesn't need to add in resources that could potentially negatively affect him.

It's not going to happen, once PayPal pulled the trigger to his account that's the end of the discussion. PayPal did not like what he was doing with it, even if it was being innocent. It sounds like this is the dark age of people on this site who have a PayPal account, and honestly - for a good reason.

None of you report this income on your tax returns, and even more are too young to even have a PayPal. This is a massive risk for PayPal and it only makes sense for them to not allow it on their platform (In terms of the services PayPal processes, ect)

If you want an easy way to bypass this, just get a visa vanilla gift card or something from Amazon or your local supermarket. Should work with stripe.

as stated previously if it’s because of his account I agree, all I’m saying is the option, if possible, should be available.

This is something I'd like as well if it's possible. Maybe do it like the gift screen (a popup comes up and you select your payment method and click buy) but of course remove the gift to part
