I'm just suggesting this since faking donations & purchases is highly deceptive. This practice of faking sales and players to make a server appear more active for the purpose of encouraging people to spend money on I believe is morally wrong.

I don't want to single out any particular product here - but linked below is an example of such a product. I'd like to preface there's many products on the market that do the same thing. (link removed for rule 1.5, author reported it )

For the same reason that sites should not allow fake reviews and sales on products - I think these should be forbidden for the same reason, because it's in essence the same thing. All discussion is welcome, I probably don't be contributing to it too much since I've already made my opinions quite clear.

I agree because resources like these are arguably violating 1.10. Though the rule does focus on users, I would support the argument that players are indirectly users. Also, I would say that using fake donations/purchases is luring users into spending money

1.10 Do not post content intended to mislead, lure, or startle users.
