Allow MCM name changes for taken inactive names

Hey guys, had a suggestion for allowing MCM users to change their MCM names to ones which are already taken. Obviously, it should only be from accounts which are completely inactive (Accounts which haven't logged on say in like a years time, nor have posted anything). I think it would be a pretty cool feature. Not sure if its possible to do so, but let me know what you guys think.

Because some people wait 3 days for the name request things.

Sounds reasonable enough. I then do agree with this suggestion not that I will do it but, if it'll improve time efficiency it will hep tons because time is the only thing you can never gain back.

I think they are wanting it to be where when a name gets changed that name gets wiped from the data base. Allowing anyone to get it right away.

This is a bad idea, since there are special requirements in order to take a squatted name (i.e. has to be inactive, not premium or supreme). 3 days isn't a long time at all.

Each user is assessed by an administrator.

But if someone, e.g. Skill, is banned but he's premium & supreme, and someone want's his name. Then what?

Then.. the request is denied.

Hmm i guess it might be hard to tell if an account is inactive or not manually which is what i thought, anyways thanks for this, didn't know this existed ._.

I still feel like this should be implemented I mean... If a player changes his name it's their own fault same with the ban.

What's wrong with waiting 3 days? For a username that you will be using for the next months, I am thinking you would be able to wait a few days, to receive the name you want. You just need to learn to be patient.

There's already a way to do this.

Hover over the 'support' tab and you'll see an option for 'username request'.

As for people complaining that it takes 3 days... It's only a username. Besides, you shouldn't be changing your username on a daily basis. There's simply no reason to do so.
