A tab on the side of the page that displays all members only with a scroll like facebook and you have the options:
Red-Do not disturb
Amber-Away
Green-Available
If you click on the name it will bring up a simple and attractive pop up where you can talk to the person.This will be a very nice way for easy communication and will make this forums quote on quote better.
Other options:
-Block:Will block the person from the chat so you wont receive any messages
-Sound:Notification sound to be off/on
