I have begin to notice the lack of an auction end date. This has beginning to start a huge problem, as eventually auctions won't even become auctions anymore; just an item sold for an amount the seller has found satisfactory. Auctions should have their risks, it shouldn't operate like a BIN sale where there's only one price. It's obvious that the seller only ends their auctions when they think a price is sufficient for their needs, which is unfair to the potential bidders.

Here is an example: http://gyazo.com/cd9701096121c75a3cd65dc6b75784d3

There is no clear bidding end date, so eventually the bidding will go to the BIN. Thus, there is really no need for a starting bid, as most likely (as long as it's a reasonable price) it'll go to the BIN price.

Or, in the case that it doesn't reach the BIN price, the seller will probably wait till there are no more offers, which will take a few days. Then, when the seller realizes that he won't get anymore money off of the product, so he tries to sell it to the highest bidder. Usually, the bidder has already found a new product as a replacement because he needed it sooner than the lengthy auction (especially with builds) so the seller couldn't sell to him. This makes him have to restart the entire process which is generally annoying not only to him but to us as a community.

Therefore I would like a mandatory auction length to be implemented, with the maximum auction length of a couple weeks, or you'll be forced to convert the thread into a solely BIN thread.

I'm glad to see so many people supporting the idea, but disappointed to see it hasn't been implemented yet.
