I really want to know, how is blackjack casino sided? Yes, I am dumb. But isn't it 50% 50% who wins, they get two cards, you get two cards. You can hit whenever they can't hit whenever. You have more freedom, but still, there is a house edge. Why and how?

Ever heard the saying "House always wins" - Its all statistic as well because if they're stuck at 17 and you're at 15 you have 7/13 chance of hitting above what you need. Its all stats based because if you're below you have a low odds of getting it.

Look at it this way: You vs house 1v1. 4 cards down meaning there is 48 cards left.
You've got ten five and dealer has 10 7. You need 6 or less to win - But you need to consider that there are 26 of 48 that will make you bust - It's all done by stats and chances.
