Buying a slot need help (I'm a newbie)

Hey! As you can tell from the title I am looking forward to buying a slot from minecraftservers.org. I need some tips for bidding. I am new so I am a bit confused as to where do I bid? What do I bid with? On minecraftservers.org I clicked sponsor and it says I need to be in one of the top 500 servers. If so how can I bid? I need help all I really want is around 4-6 hours on Saturday (if possible) for a cheap price. Is that possible? Thank you for your time

When people vote for your server your rank count goes down, you server rank has to be below 500 to be sponsored.
