I'm fairly new to the website design/development business, but I really love it. I am learning HTML and CSS (little bit of JS) for about two weeks now and I still can't understand some segments of it. Like making a slideshow, drop down menu, form where people/clients can send messages on my email, some animations (I can do the simple hover animation) and some other simple things. If you can teach me just PM me and I will send you my Skype so we can communicate easier.

It sounds to me like you're trying a bit too hard, too early. There's no 100% "correct" way to make a slideshow or dropdown menu, there are many various ways to do it and it all depends on how you want it done. Sure, some are easier and a bit "better" than others, but there's many ways to do it. Those are things that you kinda just learn along the way, I wouldn't focus too much on trying to learn all those little aspects before learning the entirety of html and css that you can and having a strong understanding of how it works. Once you understand how html elements, most commonly divs, work, you'll be able to do a lot of things you can't now.

I agree to that + make yourself test sites, if you want something and not able to do -> you will learn

Start with HTML + CSS then learn Javascript. Javascript isn't needed in the very beginning. That's how I did it. Good luck.

Yesterday I've looked the site w3schools and I leader some things about position and display so I've made my first drop down menu. I practiced it and I can now make it without looking at the example code and I fully understand the code I write. Is this a good method for making a drop down menu?

That's one of the common ways to do it. So yes, I'd say that's a good method for making them.
