You have to be joking. I'm going to go on a limp and say you've had close to no client experience. A website developer should always follow what the client tells them to do, as they're paying, not you. Secondly, if you want to do something different, suggest it don't just do it without your PAYING clients consent. As a website, developer you don't always do what the client asks for. In this example, you could have made it a lot more user-friendly.
Here's another website with music: http://www.ratchetandclankthemovie.com/characters
Notice how they have a mute button.
I'm not this client's fan base but I just clicked straight off the page when I could find a mute button. Little things like this you can mention to clients in the future and make websites that show off your skills (so you're not doing the minimum for the money).
Sorry for being so critical I just hope this helps in the future.![]()

If what Charlie says is true (it appears it is true) then maybe you should make your own site
I understand that your current website is kewl etc but I think that if you made a more structured site it would help your potential customers out a lot.
Maybe please stop posting about this topic on my threadShe didn't make it, aha. Used a script by Jake Albaugh.
I dont use the "Homepage" of my site to show my customers, Only the portfolio.
Alright. I think about it .)That's quite an interesting response. By the phrase "Potential Customers" I'm mainly referring to the people browsing your thread. These are people that you don't normally talk to (unless they go a head and contact you).
At the bottom of your thread you link http://candyyn.net/portfolio.html. Potential customers will obviously click on that link and take a look around. After seeing that the link leads to a bare website some of your smarter potential customers may head over to http://candyyn.net by removing "/portfolio.html" from the URL.
What I'm trying to say is what you've just said is very weird and maybe you should change your website up a bit. Having a more structured websites would be more professional and definitely more beneficial for potential customers. Having something that you haven't created on your own website when you're a web developer can sometimes put potential customers off purchasing from you.
