About Me:

Hello, I am Kyle, or DivideByZero or DBZ. I go by anything. I am a web applications developer just out of College with my associates degree. I currently plan on returning for my Bachelor’s degree here in August 2016. I have played Minecraft since 2013 and it has always been a hobby for me. I have programmed small work for multiple servers you have played on and are very popular now. I have no name for myself as everything I did for Minecraft originally in 2013 was for a hobby and not for money. Being a student is time consuming but I still have hours and hours per day I just spend managing servers for the company I own, Elentrix Development and services.

I am on the lookout for a new hobby that will help me out along the upcoming road back to school. That being a Minecraft server developer. There is a very high demand for them and is something my talents can shine in. I will impress you with the capability to tackle any project with both unique and effective designs. That being said, I am certified in Java, C++, and Php. But the languages that I know extend far beyond those the certifications. I am not looking for anything of high pay right now as I can’t provide references for my past Minecraft work, but I can provide copies of my certifications and degree in computer science if requested. If you need a professional and extremely reliable developer to get things done swiftly, that is what I do.

I work fast. That is the bottom line. I will never start a project with someone or even personally if I don’t believe I will finish it by the date set. I allocate my time to my projects as a priority and give my self enough time to never rush it. I create quality programs as a business owner, I am very OCD about everything and pay very close attention to detail. That is what I offer.

If having me work with you is truly of interest, you please message me on skype: IDivideByZeros and I will get back to you within 12 hours. Most likely less if it is during standard busniness hours. To reach me directly, please call my company business line, (317) 606-4802 between the hours 9AM – 3PM EST. Leave a message if I do not answer as I am in and out of my office. Thank you.

- DBZ

I have attached my resume below in a .docx format and a link to the google doc version.

Which tests did you take for your Java certification? I was planning on taking one, but there is a hierarchy with each test costing ~$100 and it seems like mainly a scheme for Oracle to make more profit.

The two java certifications I have taken are
Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer
1Z0-804 Java SE 7 Programmer II

I'll be contacting Verizon about that business number, and Purdue University to verify who are you.
Feel free :). I am always complaint with those who want to verify my authenticity. I will look forward to speak to you or someone to help you out. Though Divide By Zeros is simply my username as I see you searched the name, I am not associated with the company in that picture.

Don't worry he's just afraid of some competition and is just trying to rattle you a little bit. Good luck with your services!

I would like this to stop. If you are generally interested in hiring me I will provide all of this, but not to you as you're personality and skepticism makes me not trust you. I won't work for those who I don't trust. I mean no disrespect but if you have the need to discuss this further please contact my business number or my skype. Ty.

On MCM certified vs uncertified doesn't really hold any meaning because anyone could learn programming and a lot of the people here aren't certified, or have no degrees. If you give out vouch copies or show some work you'll be acknowledged as trustworthy'ish. Sorry your thread got bombarded! Hope you get it all figured out.

But I also have to disagree with some of you pointing out that he should post his drivers license, birth certificate, social security number, and possibly his first borns DNA genome. Everyone here is taking a risk in doing business online, you gotta hand out some trust sometimes. If you don't trust him, fine go find some other dev.

The difference is that the "programmers" here are a joke. They lack basic object oriented programming knowledge and have hardly any understanding of the language. Having a Java certification means you know the language.

True, although just because you have a certification doesn't mean you do know OOP, for all I know he cheated. He has the certification so he is more likely to know OOP but I would say I know OOP very well and I consider myself a good programmer without any degree or certification. But that's to my standards. I get where you're coming from but on MCM I'm just paying $20-30 to do something I don't care if it's industry standard as long as it works. I wouldn't shell out a couple extra dollars for someone holding a certification.

My point was just that a certification shows a lot more about your code then a couple vouch copies.

Why do non-developers get into arguments with developers about "if the code works then it's good but I don't know what that really means" then complain when the plugin breaks in the next half-an-hour and cry to us about the fact the plugin doesn't work expecting us to magic up a solution from thin air to their shit code.

Jack i think we all here can agree that this individual hasn't got the 'certificates' that he say's he has, nor i believe he has been in an University, as he doesnt even want to give us the name of that 'University'. We all here in this thread can agree that this should be locked.
That's why he sent me pictures of one of his certificates....
Don't go trashing without proof. It's a total dick move and it shows what kind of a judgmental person you are.
