Change online players! Tricks server lists!

I have just finished writing my 'FakePlayers' plugin and am distributing it. Basically it allows you to modify the servers properties when it is pinged as shown below

It is fully configurable. The config is shown below:

Fake players: true
Add real players: true
Online: 100000000
Max players: 3

# Fake players must be false for this to work
Hide players: true

# Others must be false of this to work
Display text: false
Text: '&9Some text'

And some proof of what you all want. It does trick server lists as shown in this picture:

I believe the server is still at the top here: http://minecraft-server-list.com/sort/PlayersOnline/
But it will probably be taken down for obvious reasons. If you buy this plugin you should use it smartly and be subtle about your fake players. Note that this plugin requires ProtocolLib which is a library for packet use. It will not effect your server at all. It also is a Bukkit/Spigot plugin, not a bungeecord plugin.

Saw the pictures, it does absolutely nothing that FakePlayersOnline can't do. Your plugin isn't special at all.

I don't believe you can hide your online players, or post text instead of the player count with FakePlayersOnline.

Also with your plugin, with a website like PlanetMinecraft, it will not work. Same for the public one that does the same exact thing.

I read one of the comments in the bottom for that bukkit plugin you mentioned saying that the people's names no longer appear in TAB in 1.8. Correct me if I'm wrong, I read it rather quickly but I know it has something like that.

No, players names still do appear in the tab list.

Yea, I have heard 1.8 messed up the tabs. I don't think you can modify them any more besides the header and footer.

Bought the plugin yesterday - everything went smoothly, he's a nice guy. Sadly this does not work with any Bungee servers so I can't use it, but he is not a scammer.

Anyone know any other plugins where you can change the colour of the amount of players, and replace the amount of players with your own server name (or whatever text)?

This is the plugin I found before that had a max and min. (I compelty forgot about it until I tried Goggling... the power of Google!) It's completely free from Floppy012. It's a very neat plugin from the description although I have never used it. You can download it for free here for Bukkit and here for BungeeCord.

You in fact are bickering. You are bringing up petty arguments with no proof to back them up. My plugin doesn't work with planet minecraft you say? Do you understand how they receive data from the server? Do you understand that there is only one way to ping a server? How would you know that it doesn't work with planetminecraft? You claim you will prove it to us that the other plugin works on minecraftservers.org yet I see no proof. Sure, it probably does, yet we can't know without proof. You claim there is a public plugin that does literally everything mine does? I don't see a way to hide the player count, or change the player count to text in that plugin. Maybe you are trying to save people money, but I doubt it. I think you are attempting to get me mad for fun; it has worked.

Just saying that there's a public plugin out there that people might as well check out. I wouldn't spend any money on this plugin, personally. Try it out for yourself, it literally takes less than 5 minutes.

Skionz You know yourself that this isn't hard. Why are you charging $5 for this when there are plenty of alternatives that are more feature-rich than this plugin. Most server lists ping a server to get the amount of players and you should know this. The only way a server list could tell if you were faking players is if they were using the server query.

There has been an update. The plugin was rejected on Spigot due to being unethical and as an act of rebellion I will be releasing it on Bukkit Dev for free. I will be posting it obnoxiously in my Spigot signature.

Good man. Tbh this is better than the FakePlayersOnline plugin but I still don't think it's worth being paid for.
