I'd also recommend learning how to use Bootstrap, it allows you to create beautiful websites with not that much work! You might also want to look at http://themeforest.net/item/oneui-admin-dashboard-template-ui-framework/11820082, it's based on Bootstrap, and it creates really advanced websites.
