This is a reply from the thread "ew" created regarding 1/2 character usernames. Clearly it isn't getting far because no one is paying attention or it's just too late in the night but I decided to post it as a thread so it would get noticed more. Everything I'm saying is true and you all have nothing to worry about.
Let me start off by saying that these accounts won't get deleted/terminated.
Minecraft has no idea that this method is even being used. They have no log that tells them what e-mails are being checked and what not. This is coming from the guy who even found out that this exploit existed. There actually is a possibility of e-mails getting deleted and your accounts having to be reactivated in order to receive your reset password link. I know this because I have experienced it. One of my own personal OGs which I've owned for a while had got it's e-mail deleted and I had to contact Mojang to get this fixed. These things happen. Oh sure, they'll know there's some exploit out there because everyone's asking for reset password links but they won't know which accounts are affected by this change. They won't know whether some e-mails are actually legitimate asking for the reset password link or just us, stealing usernames.
Also, 1-2 character usernames were able to be made back in 2009 around launch date. As I've posted before as proof, a Mojang representative stated that 1 character usernames are no longer supported. That means that they used to once be able to be created but NO LONGER. There was no glitch to create short usernames, this was always a possibility back then. I suggest you fix your shit and research some stuff before you post some junk.
That being said, Mojang isn't going to do shit so all of you need to calm your tits. Mojang doesn't care which accounts are stolen because they are all non-premium. As long as they're getting their $27 for premium codes, I'm sure they could give one f*ck.
Also don't ever listen to what "Ew" has to say. This nigga ain't even an OG "genius" because he owns 6 OGs. You guys act like he's Notch because he owns some silly good usernames. Go read a bible or listen to Lana Del Rey and look at who the real kween is.
