Copy & Paste-able MC-M Conversations

The Problem: In a few scam reports I have seen and experienced myself had to take multiple screenshots of a conversation that has taken place on MC-M. It is sometimes frustrating because you have to go through all of the screenshots you previously took to make sure you didn't catch any sensitive info (other tabs, open windows, etc.) or to just look through all of the images others have posted.

Solution: Implement a button that will bring you to a new tab with the conversation condensed down ready for a copy and paste. A good example of this would be ChatFormat for skype conversations.

My opinion: I hope this gets added to MC-Market because I think it is a great idea and it reduces a lot of stress for viewers and even Scam Resolvers as it makes things much simpler!

I am not sure what you mean.

There isn't a xenforo add-on for copying and pasting pms for xenforo. This means BeBosny would have to contact someone to develop this. It may take time, but I think it going be worth it. Anyways that is the only flaw I see with this.

BeBosny would have to put in a lot of money to pay his developer to make a custom add-on just for MCM for this tiny little thing that annoys you .

This is a terrible idea! It would give people the idea that sharing PRIVATE conversations under all circumstances (not just scams) is okay and moral. However, it is not. It is extremely rude!

That's not what he is suggesting though. It would be easier to resolve scam reports this way instead of adding M6 to your PM. Screenshotting the conversation has the same concept so I don't see why this is any different.

Can be easily faked.
Find what I added.
Once you find it you'll realise it's simply just adding/chaning/removing the words, and bam, you got yourself a fake quote.

Of course it can, as can chatformat? Chatformat just formats text into CSS styled text without timestamps? Huge difference in legitimacy.

Even screenshots shouldn't be trusted as evidence. Inspect element is a great tool to use! Staff should authenticate conversations themselves. Quotes are just for the sake of being quotes, and screenshots... all they do is make it harder to search through text.
