I'm looking for core that includes:
1) custom pm (also with togglesound, togglepm)
2) basic commands from essentials
*3) ranks? - like permsex, it would be nice too

I'd recommend Nucleus from Joeleoli, but keep in mind that it's $80, comes with source, uses Redis, and has tons of other useful features and optomizations.

The core for my server has everything joel's has but without ranks. Not for sale though. Regardless joel's is probably the best core on the market. (joeleoli)

Yeah, but I'd recommend he remove the LINK_WHITELIST string list from his ChatManager class, you know, so a user can't just spam zonix's IP on the server and bypass the ad check he provides.
