Could someone with Linux knowledge give their input?

I have been working on my dedicated box to mount a partition to re access the files for our dedicated box, and change some permissions to what they were before. However, I have no experience doing this, and I am wondering if someone could take a few minutes to help walk me through a few steps to ensure I am doing this correctly. Here is where I am at now.
