I'd use ReliableSite, I used ServerMania once but it never was as good as RS.

I used to use ServerMania when I operated as a host still, they offer some great quality services, however their support is only "fair."

Better ping to a certain extent does matter.
What if you were in the US, and your server was hosted in Africa, or Australia ?
You'd get like 250-300MS, which is SHIT for pvp.

He wanted a server in new york for better ping...

When OVH has a datacenter in motreal canada, which is RIGHT NEAR new york...

Small things like that, doesnt matter.

Maybe if it was in the EU it does. but being right outside of new york doesn't make a difference.

OVH is, and always has been, a budget provider. Why is it very well known here? Because a lot of people like to use things that are cheap. Their support are literally trained in Minecraft server support now, better than they can actually do technical support and they have a line basically aimed towards Minecraft. In the professional hosting industry, they're not relied on or used.

I don't think he asked about OVH though. He's asking about Server Mania.
