I agree, your advertising is sexy and clean, your points around security and performance are sold, could just be a tough sell in a community like this. Good Luck!We understand that people won't like our prices but believe me when I say people get what they pay for.
Thanks for the kind words John, we put a lot of work into our services so far and don't plan on stopping any time soon.I agree, your advertising is sexy and clean, your points around security and performance are sold, could just be a tough sell in a community like this. Good Luck!
We understand that. But it's worth a shotI agree, your advertising is sexy and clean, your points around security and performance are sold, could just be a tough sell in a community like this. Good Luck!
Hi thanks for your post. We totally agree. If you want a decent host then cough up the dough. With DediFire you get what you pay for and much more! How much is your time worth?
I'm leasing a 16 core Xeon dedi with 48 GB of RAM for less than $50/month before added IP addresses from Quad IX. Before whipping out my credit card, I did my homework on these folks and I knew they sucked at setup, but there didn't seem to be any complaints about ongoing business so I figured I would just write off the first month.
Sure enough, I spent the first day after my server was provisioned explaining CIDR to a first tier tech, because they shorted me an IP address from the /28 I ordered. They actually put me on a /27 network, ostensibly so they can double sell the unusable IP addresses. Fine. Whatever. Just give me 14 useable IP addresses. Count them right and don't try to sell me my gateway as a useable IP, because it's not.
Market rate for my time is $40/hour. One way of looking at this is that my $50/month server just cost an additional $160 for the 4 hours I spent over the course of 2 days because they messed up implementing their IP address scam. Another way to look at it is two days off my launch schedule for 16 4 GB Minecraft servers, or over a month's income from a 4 GB server. What's that worth?
Unless you're in the rare position of being a very technologically literate individual with a lot of free time and very poor cash flow or you're leasing enough hardware that managing it is a full-time job, you SHOULD be leasing a 16 GB server for $200/month instead of a 48 GB server for $50/month. You don't need to be hemorrhaging hundreds of dollars worth of administrative hours and thousands of dollars in down time if your players will support your servers on something better. I LIKE explaining basic network concepts to teenagers. Unless that's your thing, pony up the dough for a decent host.
you sponser for youtubers ?
At the moment we only provide dedicated servers but we are not in the position at the moment to sponsor someone with a free server if that is what you are asking.you sponser for youtubers ?
