As the title says, MCM should delete the threads after they are completed or maybe reach a certain time period.
The best option will be to transfer all the threads with 'Complete' tag to a Sub-Forum not viewable by members (Just Staff)
This will decrease the congestion in all sections of the Forums.

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

There are definitely a few cons in this suggestion but just imagine the 'pros'.
It has a lot of benefits..
How about you spell them out and we'll knock them down.

I totally agree with this. A lot of cape/OG accounts get taken away after liek 2 weeks by Mojang and then people have to repay them. It’s kinda unfair to the seller and the buyer as the seller has to get his money which he might not even have and he sometime feels like it’s a scam. From the buyers point of view. That maybe the seller has taken it back and email customer services. They then have to get there money back and yeah. I’ve recently had to do this from a buyers point of view with WestPlayss and he has none of the money. This is kinda disappointing that this feature hasn’t been implemented already. This happens due to the fact that Mojang check this site regularly and see the Sold accounts and L o c k them. It’s really unfair because I used it as a main since my OG account got terminated because I kept switching IP’s. Then it got locked and now I have to restart my account. Mojang doesn’t pay you back if you had a minecon cape and even the account. (2016 + $26 = $106) This is why I agree with it.

It's up to the thread creator to delete the thread.

If it's locked by Mojang, then it's the seller's fault. By choosing to sell an account, you immediately accept the risks of doing so; i.e. getting locked.

Accounts getting locked happens rather infrequently. You may have had a bad experience with one account but that isn't representative of all accounts. Mojang employees don't frequent the site, not sure how you got that information.

Upgrade to Supreme for the ability to trash threads. It's already a feature on the site for upgraded users as incentive to support the site that you're making money off of.

Also people can’t close OG/Cape threads even Supreme.

This has happened not infrequently to ME. It has happened more than ten times.
Seems maybe that's something on your end. I've bought and sold in excess of 50 accounts and I think only one has been locked and that was because the buyer emailed mojang regarding it.

If a user wants to delete their thread then they can with Supreme or they can report it and get a mod to delete/move it for them.

I see no reason for us to automatically delete things because we consider them not to be relevant anymore. We already auto-lock threads that haven't had a response in several months, essentially archiving them.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
