Many of you know of the recent controversy between Affixes and Aschorren. Aschorren had accused Affixes of fraud, although he refused to submit a scam report or show any proof. Affixes did not receive any punishment due to this. Fast forward about 2 months later, Aschorren releases his e-book. Here are the reasons that I feel that it is unfair for Aschorren to be allowed to sell his e-book:
- Several others have been disallowed to sell e-books of similar types.
- He has refused to submit it to resources, as he doesn't trust staff (Although I think this is false, I think he was just worried about being exposed)
- The fact that he has been treated far better than the rest, possibly because of his connections with Mick, and the large financial contributions he's made to this site.
- The fact that his thread was locked and the feedback was biased (Aschorren has connections with Mick, and the fact that many people started flaming the thread for what the book was).
This is why I think it is completely unfair for Aschorren to sell his ebook, although I believe that it would look biased if we didn't remove all ebooks.
Now on to the second part.
Affixes is a very good member of our community, he was always a good guy and only did was was right. The only thing he did wrong was leak the e-book, but he didn't do it with malicious intent. There wasn't even a TOS, and he did not patent it. Let's also take a recent look at the ban list:
You can see he was banned for scamming/violating rights. What rights did he violate? He was only looking out for the community.
Now, let's take a look at the ban reasons. You can see that M6Gaming banned several users for scamming, however they were always accompanied by a thread. On the other hand, Affixes's ban was not accompanied with a thread for scamming.
Staff, please put a stop to this nonsense.
tl;dr Remove aschorren's e-book, and unban Affixes.
