I think that this should be a rule world wide. On almost every single selling thread, I see AT LEAST like 8 people asking for a vouch copy & it really irritates me, especially when they add something extra like "I'll leave a long and meaningful review that's in depth" and then the vouch ends up as "works, thanks ! !"
I think that it's not needed. It would be much easier to just disallow these so we can use the big "Report" button and get them deleted. If people want an alternative, use a Middle Man or just ask them for a preview of their work.
This will probably be denied but it's worth a shot.

The giving of vouch copies should be left up to the seller.

Users are not allowed to ask for vouch copies unless the seller explicitly offers them, so yes, those posts can be reported.
A seller can say "No vouch copies", and that word is final.
That's how I prefer it stay.

Oh I wasn't aware we could report those posts, must have missed that rule.
I'll just do that when I see those posts and the seller wasn't offering vouch copies.

Yeah... no....
I released something a couple weeks back and specifically stated that there were to be "no vouch copies".
I still got requests, even from a staff member Kappa I don't think anyone follows that rule.

Then it needs to be enforced.

But my stance remains the same.
It should be left up to the seller.

If the seller says no vouch copies that should be the final word.
And if someone asks for a vouch copy on that thread, their post should be removed, and they should receive a warning.

I think that a banner somewhere between the first and second post stating that "Asking for vouch copies is not allowed" would be helpful.

I didn't comment here, apparently.

It's not something you can exactly "disallow". I'm just surprised you call them vouch copies. I'm also surprised that they exist... Is this a trend you picked up from hack forums, too?

I mean, wow. OK. I think, by default, there are no "vouch copies" unless explicitly stated. So a seller can report them for spam if they want, because that's what it is - spam. However, such posts "bump" a thread, so I imagine sellers prefer to have them there. If staff see them, delete them as spam, however, sellers won't report them. I suppose casually browsing users could report it as spam.

Second, to sellers, really? Vouch copies? lol...

I was selling something for £200 a copy. Someone messaged me and said "that's too much... can I get a free copy? will leave review" I said o_O (this was the first time I got such a request). Professionally, I said, it's not possible and it's not something I do. Then they said "OK, how about for $200 instead of £200 (which, btw, is approx $298? guesstimate, cba to check right now). I couldn't do this either, it wouldn't be fair to other customers. A few hours later they bought it for the real price of £200. Again, this was the first time I had an occurrence like this.

I don't think the post count or rating cumulative count you have here makes you deserving of a free copy of anything. Most asking for them don't even have the money to buy the thing itself, so they hope a free copy helps them feel superior.

It also breaks the whole "BUYER FEEDBACK" system. Fake feedback, fake reviews, not helpful to real buyers. Simple chain.

TLDR; users: report them for spam, sellers: stop giving the damn things out.
