Do ServerLists even benefit player count?

Real talk, I don't think any actual player has looked at a server list in 10 years to find a good server, do they actually bring in any traction or are they just bots.

The smaller your server is the more likely server lists will drive your player intake. Especially if you have no youtubers or other platform to advertise your server.

Just because you've played Minecraft most of your life doesn't mean that serverlists are bad, they are good depending on the gamemode of your server, over saturated gamemodes like Factions will benefit less than more popping gamemodes like Prison & even skyblock. New Minecraft players especially still use serverlists to find servers to play.

Never said they were bad I was just pointing out that me along with any friends I have spoken with have never used a server list to find a good server.
