We will be starting the network with only one gamemode, which is very unique. The entire network concept is very unique, and we wish to hire some staff.

Why do you need a legal name for a Minecraft Server?...

This format makes me laugh. I can also tell you something in words, and do something else after being hired. What did I do? Waste your time. Also as a recommendation, don't use the word unique too much. Using the word a lot makes it look dull.
If you are looking for a serious staff member for your network then feel free to contact me through PM. I do not do applications, never have needed to due to my experiences when communicating to owners. Good day.
When you make an application then you are giving a first impression to the owners. If you don't have to write an application then you didn't give an impression or an image of yourself or even introduce yourself. You just get hired with just a simple 5 minute conversation, seems like it.. That's why people fill in applications not for you to laugh at it and say it's a waste of time, but to take it seriously for them to accept you. If they don't accept you because of you failing your staff application or not even putting an ounce of effort to it then what makes them want to accept you? You making a staff application shows them how much effort you'll put into their server and if you say your past experiences will back you up then good luck because for someone who has past experience, but can't even make a simple application then he/she shouldn't even be bothering to be hired. Think about it, how hard is it to make a 10 minute application when you have to work 24+ hours?

Also, in job interviews.. Are you going to be like, ahh I don't need an interview because of my past experiences will impress you. Well guess what.. Other people may have the same past experiences, but they still put in the effort to make an application and so do you think you'll have a percentage of being accepted? The boss isn't going to be like, wow you made a plugin? Nice! You don't have to make an application and you can get straight to work. No, that's not how it is.. You're going to have to make an application showing your skills and your past experiences. They're not going to hire you without knowing your past experiences, your name, your age, your contact details or anything.

Example -

Boss: Hey uhh.. Somebody?
You: It's John..
Boss: Oh yeah, John.. Since you're um.. 27?? This client is 25 and is looking for a health care provider..
You: No.. I'm 30.. :L
Boss: Oh right! Anyways, since I know you have tons of past experiences on being a health care provider or know how to persuade clients well to buying the product then I'm assigning you to it..
You: I actually had past experiences using not selling...

Example over -

Do you think the boss will have a good time with the fact that he knows 0% about you? You could just make a 10 minute application about yourself and then when he's done reading it in like 5 minutes then he doesn't have to start a 30 minute conversation with you asking these pointless questions when he could be interviewing other people that only need a 5 - 10 minute conversation as well as you being at work ALREADY without having to sit there talking and talking.

So please don't say you're laughing at the format and you don't have to make an application because of your past experiences will give a good impression. No, that's not how it works... Also, yes his application may look a bit silly, but think about it. Is this a real job interview or just a Minecraft game interview?? Is the Minecraft job going to make you a living (not creating the game, but just being a staff helping players)? No, and so just make a 5 - 10 minute application and you know.. Maybe it was a quicky to get to know you a bit more rather than a very serious application format..

Anyways, this is a bit long and confusing since I didn't put much effort into it, but I had to type this so that everyone else can see how important an application can and cannot be. I only took less than 10 minutes to type that. If I just give a straight out reply saying "This reply is making me laugh when you can just go check out the other applications and see which is better.. An application or a non existing application. Haha, this guy is so silly." No, this gives no detail at all at what you're trying to say, and that person will have a misunderstanding because I don't know how each person's mind works.. BLAH!
