doesn't look like it is an actual firework as such per the wiki https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Firework_Star

they might be using some kind of plugin/command block to set off one empty firework (for the flash effect) and then creating the rest of the particles themselves

if ur talking about it going diagnol its not vanilla...but the 'burst' affect can be done by a feather
