I can speak of the first time my Grandma got scammed. She was using that app Letgo to buy some sort of chair. The guy had asked her to wire money to him through Walmart and she actually did it. The chair never came and when she asked the guy about it he asked for even more money because according to him his “friend” was in the hospital.

I was scammed by someone who was selling me Spotify accounts, one day he just decided to get paid and block me while we had done many deals in the past. The amount wasn't big but the whole thing was still weird.

It was karma. She was harassing me how I “wasted” $1000 on my IPhone X at the time. Boy did I have some fun making jokes about her for a while.

back when i first joined this community i binned an account and some rando messaged me on discord and my dumb ass never thought to verify him and sent him 150 bucks for the account lmao.

One and only time i got scammed was my first purchase on this site and it was also a guy on discord who impersonated.
