Fix the editor...

You know, fixing and implementation of good suggestions here is almost fictional, like I said, but this is essential functionality.

Fix the editor. Highlighting any text scrolls to the bottom of the page. If not in all browsers, it does in Safari at least. It's a website bug. Please, put the effort into fixing it.

Edit: works on this post, seems to work on initial posts, not replies.

I use Chrome normally, and I've never encountered this issue.
I got out safari on my mac though, to test this, and I was unable to reproduce the bug.
Everything seems to work fine on my end.

Perhaps you meant the mobile version of safari?

I don't have an IOS mobile device, so I cannot verify this myself, so if anyone else can attest to this not just being a lone abnormality, that'd be fantastic.

For replies on Safari it seems to be a problem, caused by malformed javascript by the looks of it. Will test on Chrome to confirm it isn't my environment.[DOUBLEPOST=1451628086,1451627871][/DOUBLEPOST]Justis

Ahh, thank you, the video was extremely helpful in understanding what you meant.
I followed those same steps in my safari browser, and I did indeed get shot down to the bottom of the page.
Tried in the Chrome browser, and there was no such effect.
It does only seem to effect the safari browser.

Thank you for pointing this out.
This is most certainly a bug to be fixed.
