Hi! I'm Reese from the BlueGalaxy building team. We're quite knew.
Today, I have our latest project, the GreatOak server Hub.
Here is a pic as to what it looks like:
76Ci8Oo.png

As you may be able to tell, we got some inspiration from Mineplex. It's a smaller hub, but it's great for smaller servers.

Images/proof that I built it:

Features of this Hub:
6 portals
Great Customizability.
Quick access to get back into your game fast!

How you will receive this bid if you win/BIN:

1. Add our Skype: blue-galaxy.team
2. Choose between a world file or schematic (schematics may take a little longer to receive)
3. You pay me through Paypal
4. Once I see you have payed, I will send it to you directly, or through my Dropbox.

NOTE: Please do not PM me, only bids posted below will be counted. Also, while I love feedback, this build comes as is (completed). This is the barebones, you must tweak it to your server liking (because we do not know what server type you are running).

What are you talking about? I don't see why we are receiving so much hate. We just posted a hub we built, no problem what so ever. Then everyone who reply has something negative to say about it. Just please stop.

I also don't see how this is constructive criticism:
"Building it from scratch means nothing, and 30minuites-1hour on a build isnt a lot of time." It's all his opinion.
Your going to see a lot of that on this site.

Btw, when someone says the build has no depth, detail(specifically on this thread), it's not really an opinion. The build has no detail, the tree, to be honest, doesn't look like a tree.(a realistic one)

Good luck selling though, and it's a nice place to start. $6-$10 max.

Pros:
Giant Tree

Cons:
Small
No Depth
No Detail
Simple
Small
Portals are small
Glowstone is ugly
Vines are ugly

Building it from scratch means nothing, and 30minuites-1hour on a build isnt a lot of time.[DOUBLEPOST=1418948046,1418948016][/DOUBLEPOST]You put so much effort into the tree, which players dont even care to see, when the floor is bland and theres no color in the spawn.
lmao, 30mins to 1hour is merely nothing, i mean peopls spends alot more time like, i spent 7-8 hours on a 200+ by 200+ hub that i didnt even expect to sell, and i doubt it will, and tbh, idec, so all i have to say to this rude builder is 'suck it up princess, if no one wants it, then rethink the idea and its design, add more depth, more color make the portals look more grand to suit the theme then resell it'[DOUBLEPOST=1418997138][/DOUBLEPOST]I also agree with The Minefield Network on his round about approx price for this, and yea, good luck selling, hopefulyl a server beginner comes along and finds an eventually updated version of this

Actual professional builders use vines and glowstone , because they know how to use them properly. Don't say you shouldn't use the blocks +experienced builders don't even play on public servers.

This build is not gonna sell , anyone with no building experience could easily build it themselves in under an hour , just saying.
Glowstone only works in megabuilds from far, same with vines. Its better to use leaves as vines, and torches/redstone/burningfurnaces than glowstone. If you can prove me wrong, please show me a small build like this with good use of glowstone, and vines.

You must have never heard from alecdent , one of our builders and a legend in the builders community. (not an over-exagguration.)
http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/a-calm-world-at-midnight/
The trees and landscape contain vines and they add alot to the terrain, glowstone is used to create magical orbs and general illumination of the forest.
PS, glowstone doesn't work in megabuilds , use redstone lamps for those , and how are you planning on using vines in them ?

If you have no idea who alecdent is , first of all : shame on you , but I'm sure my fellow professional builders agree on the matter , such as hydraxus , thatoldkid etc. (as I am in contact with them on a regular basis and they regard my team as equals.) Don't question my knowledge ever again , I have a lot of experience with building , more than anyone on this website for sure.

Sorry for being so defensive , I just don't like it when people start throwing building lessons and restrictions around , like you shouldn't do this or this , If you don't even know what you're talking about and basing it on opinions of the generic builder , without any valid arguments. Stop limiting people from using their creativity to their full potential , there are no rules in building , if it looks good it is good , too many builders lack creativity because they get these certain techniques shoved into their brains because that's what a server(for example) sees as good.

I'm not here to give tips and building lessons , last time I will lecture someone. :)

Pros and cons of your statement

Pros
- Absolutely nothing that helps our build team

Cons
- Everything you said is strictly based on your opinion and/or taste.

I highly recommend when you give any type of constructive criticism, which this was clearly not, you make it beneficial for everyone. I also find it ironic you said "we built this in 30 minutes." In fact, we did not. I would like to see you build better, sir.
An opinion is based on someones opinion/taste - everything that is a con there should be worked on, so yes it should have helped your team.

Everyone takes their own time, but yes I think an individual can do this in 30 minutes. Multiple people, should be at quicker if not a minimum of 30 minutes.

But then again, everyone takes their own time.

When people express their opinions its always going to be criticism whether its in a nice or mean way, take it. This build is terrible, and wont sell. Might as well be mean and say it bluntly. Because if I sugar coat it, you wont get it. You will just continue to do bad. Take some lessons, watch tutorials etc..

You honestly think those vines look better than using actual leave blocks as vines?

Well, thanks for the feedback. We are still working on how we build. I just want to state, I am not rude, if you didn't look at the previous posts from others, there was swearing, etc. If you hate it, I understand. Thanks for at least looking.
