The thread clearly states "Please message me with what you want the plugin to be, and how much you are looking to spend.". This is not based off a price, I am basing it off how much you are able to spend. All the info needed is in the thread, it is as simple as can be. Just message me with the details and how much you are looking to spend, and I will get back to if I decide to choose you.
What is the point of using a middleman? Common sense says its cheaper just to buy a plugin from someone directly. If you had purchased a plugin before the advantage would be this would be a faster way to acquire it, but as is this deal only benefits you because it would be much simpler for us just to contact the developer directly.
Maybe you do not fully understand. I have an opportunity to get a plugin made for myself for free. I do not need a plugin now, but other people do.. I will take someones request for a plugin if they have a reasonable price. It would be cheaper going through me due to me already making a profit with not having to make the plugin, so I have large space for price change, where if you went through a plugin developer, they would charge more due to them making the plugin, and wanting a profit worth their time. Yeah, I still don't get it. You still had to do something for them at some point to get the free plugin in the first place so the cost has to cover that. I guess you could've won it in a contest or something, but then owe wouldn't be the right word in the original post since that implies the person is in debt rather than just giving you something for free.

Yeah, why do they owe you it? Promising is different than owing because owing implies a reason behind the promise. You did x so they owe you y, not they promised you y so they owe you y, it would just be they promised you y because you are even before the exchange. Owe means a negative number is going toward zero, not that you are getting a positive number out of a start of zero. Owe is forced, promised isn't. Promising something owed is the same as saying "She agreed to non-consenting sex.", it doesn't make any sense.

No, they don't. That's why contracts are obligations and not promises. You never promise to pay bills, you are contractually obligated to do so. If all you did was promise you could just say fuck that and never do it and not really get in trouble. Another example is politicians, they promise a bunch of shit and it is understood they never have to actually do it. Still, that isn't the only problem since owe implies a debt. You only owe money after a bill is due and you failed to pay it, not before.
This is getting complicated, but simply put: I owe you something =/= Here is something for free.
So I guess my question is why is the guy making you a free plugin? If it is a result of him being in debt to you then it would cost just as much if not more than a regular plugin.

At this point, it is none of your concern. All that is your business is that I know for sure I am getting a free plugin made, and I am looking for someone who would want a plugin made for a low cost to take my free plugin "coupon" if you will. To be clear, I won a free plugin as a "vouch copy". Thanks
