Golden Apple Overhaul

Hello! My name is Adam (IAmBoosh) and I am currently developing an rpg/factions server. Golden apples have been an issue for a while for me and I have been looking for a plugin which overhauls all features of Golden Apples from effects, to expanded crafting recipes.

Some more information on the plugin:

CRAFTING - SHAPELESS

  • old crafting recipe and effects gone
  • new recipe is a standard Golden Apple with the specific potions to make a specific apple (variable hunger/saturation levels per apple both positive and negative)

APPLE ABILITIES AND EFFECTS

  • Ability to affect HP, and most other NTB Tags (Through and possible means, if it is indeed possible) elements on a percentage or flat basis upon consumption of the apple(positively and negatively)
  • Ability to run commands that the player would otherwise not have access to for a specific amount of time (such as vanishing the player upon consumption for ten seconds)
  • Effect (potion,command,and HP) strength and timings all separately controllable via config. If an apple has 2 potion effects 2 command effects and 1 HP effect then 5 timings are available(1 for each effect)
  • Effect strength and time clearly visible on enchanted apple
  • Send messages to players to let them know when each effect is about to end.
  • Speed Boost effect ending in 5 seconds Stealth (/vanish) effect ending in 6 seconds HP reduction ending in 10 seconds

CONFIG AND GENERAL STRUCTURE
  • Should be able to be hooked in to, in order to make extensions
  • Multi-colored (configurable) trails behind player/particle auras from consumption till end of final effect.
  • Create apples including name(w/ color codes) ,lore, and effects (potion,command,and hp) directly in config or similar yml file
  • Ability to run effects directly after eating the apple after certaine ffects end, or only during certain effects,
    • EX: Health boost (variable) for 5 seconds (variable) upon the assassin apples stealth effect ending
  • Conditions for breaking or adding additional effects during the Apple Effect Time
    • Attacking from stealth gives Bonus Damage but also ends the stealth (Assassin's Apple)
    • Upon taking the first hit of damage, increase max HP (NBT Tag) until end of Apple Effect Time (Knight's Apple)
  • Create a Permission node in config or similar yml file for each apple (ga.assassin for assassins apple etc)
  • basic in-game commands (controllable aliases):
    • /ga reload,
      • reloads the overhaul plugin
    • /ga give <player name> <apple name> <amount>,
      • give a player a certain number of apples
    • /ga list,
      • lists all currently implemented apples and their effects in the following type of list:
        • Apple Name
        • Apple Description
        • Bullet list of each effect and timmings/strength individually
      • List style editable in messages.yml or similar file

EXAMPLES THAT ARE ABLE TO BE CREATED BY THE CONFIG

Assassin's Apple:

  • Jump Boost 1(0:15)
  • Speed Boost 2 (0:30)
  • Stealth(/vanish or similar) (0:10)
  • Attacking from stealth gives increased damage.
  • Upon leaving stealth lose 20% maximum Health
  • Large cyan trail upon consumption until end of effect
Knight's Apple:
  • Strength 2 (0:15)
  • Mining Fatigue 1 (0:15)
  • -35% movement speed (0:15)
  • +25% HP Upon taking your first hit of damage during the effect time
  • Large visible Red trail upon consumption until end of effect

HOPEFUL ADDITIONS:
  • Legendquest hook
    • for mana,stat, and cooldown apples
  • Multieffect potions
  • Splash Apples
    • Double right click apple to give a 50% effective enchanted apple to all allies(factions tie in) in target area (TRAIL WOULD ALSO CHANGE)
  • Custom Effects
    • such as vampirism(replinish part of damage as hp),smiting (chance to smite enemy), tracking (applies debuff which marks enemy for you, similar to 1.9 spectral arrows) and more.
  • Soulbinding Apples/Soulbinding Effect
    • Extremely expensive, every other enchanted apple as well as 1 stack of diamonds,gold, and emeralds, keep inv on death
