How does one go about making their website look good on google search results?

Get Brivium's meta addon for XenForo to change your metadata and description will look nicer.

Sitemaps to get all those tabs, but worry about getting on top of Google first.

I am assuming you have a Google Webmasters account?

If you don't, get one...
If you do, there are some areas in the control panel (under "Search Appearance") that allow you to select certain website data from you website and have it displayed in the Google results.

Making a sitemap of the website (http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/) will help Google find and display the sub pages, but as this only happens if you are the first search result, you need to be at the top first.

Please do note that if you are using Buycraft, these custom sub pages might not work, but I haven't had time to test.
