I am a member for about 2 weeks. Had some successful trades and helped out others a little. I plan to stick around mc-market a lot and hopefully, I will be providing services too. I am also the owner of a successful server called Battle Made. I am in the server business already 2 years and I have a lot of experience. During my free time I spend time playing basketball or video games. Virtually, I am really addicted to cs:go & role playing games. If you ever need any help, feel free to shoot me a pm.My story:
I started with a small server called ClatMc which was hosted by Host Horde. It was a factions/survival server. It was a really small server with a little underground spawn I built. Later I changed the server name to CreedPvP and updated it with a new spawn I found on planet-minecraft. The server wasn't high quality but I enjoyed running it. At that time I had 3 donator ranks that lasted 1 month each(Vip, MegaVip, God). I had a first donation of 25 euro. I was insanely happy and perhaps that donation got me where I am now. Later on I found a little exploit I could abuse and got a lot of players online but the server had a lot of down time mainly because Host Horde didn't have ddos protection and their servers weren't too good, I also never overloaded the server, I had the minimum amount of plugins configured to run smooth. As the time went on I received far more donations because players really liked the god package which had fly.
I made a reset. And found a great guy called Tierdal. He helped me out a lot. At that time he was studying human psychology and helped me improve the server a lot by adding little tweaks. And the server pretty much exploded. We went to 15-30 player average. But unfortunately I had a lot of school and stuff and I couldn't look out after the server. And so it slowly died. Tierdal was also busy with work so the server was left un-managed.
The second reset occurred. I got a spawn leaked from some one else and added in custom terrain & enchantments, I also changed the donator ranks. At that time I already had 3 dedicated players & donators that kept on supporting the server. Not long after they became my staff members. They were pretty helpful and the server was successful because of them. We struggled but managed to get back the player-base and the server was finally turning into something.
I made the third reset. This time I turned the server into a network. Every still kept playing factions and there were a few players on other servers. So it turned out not to be successful at all. Everyone was spread out between communities. So after a while I decided to turn the server back to factions only. And I switched to a cheap host, which shut down and I lost all of my files.
I couldn't be bothered to create another server until my dedicated donators, donated for the server to get back up. And so I got a lot of resources from spigot and got some premium gfx for CreedPvP, got a new website and everything. New terrain, new enchantments, new features. I got a lot of our old players back and the server was turning into something it never has been before. We were hitting 40 players at peak. But then I met a guy called Veroxus. He offered money to buy the server, and at that time I didn't have much time for the server because of in real life stuff and so we agreed on 1500$. So I went first and sent him the domain. But at the end I realized he was a scammer and that's how I lost my first server.
After a month or so. I decided to get another server up and running with the money I saved from CreedPvP. The name of the server was MetricRealms, it lasted for about 2 weeks until I decided to close it because no one played it and again no time I had.
Now this is my final project. I created a server called Battle Made on 1st of August, 2015, so around a month ago. And it has literally exploded. Everyone loves it. We already average 5-25 players and got A LOT of donations which I spent on youtubers and graphics. The server is turning out to be something HUGE, and finally I have time to spend developing and upgrading it! Unfortunately all previous players and staff left, so it is all fresh and new. And with my past experience I created, in my opinion one of the most unique factions server.
