Hey!
I'm Kieran, you can call me Kier! I'm 16, and from England. Currently attending college and studying Psychology, Sociology and IT. I have 3 career paths in front of me, and am still choosing which one to take: Police Officer, Teacher, Java Developer. That's the short info about me. How about we kick it off with a story?
So, since the age of 3, I've wanted to be in the police. I was so fascinated with them, I decided to call them one day. I had misbehaved, as all toddlers do, and my parents put me on "the naughty step". For those unfamiliar with the concept, it's the bottom step of a flight of stairs that you make a child sit on for a certain amount of time (20mins, 30mins) when they have misbehaved. So, I'm sat there, and I scream to my parents "I'm going to call the real, real police on you!". Of course, they laughed it off and walked away. Little did they know, that's exactly what I did.
At 10pm that night, when I was fast asleep, my parents heard a knock at the door. It was the police. They said they had received a silent 999 call from the house and that they had to search to make sure everything was okay before they left. My nan, soon realising that it was me that had phoned the police, was not amused. And that's the story of how I phoned the police when I was 3 years old!
Since then, I've gone on to achieve several GCSEs in areas such as Computer Science, Geography, Physics, Maths and English. I've joined and left the Police Cadets, where I gained valuable insight into policing. I've done work experience in my local primary school as a Teaching Assistant. And finally, I've gained various certification in areas such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java and Git.
