Help setting up Pixelmon Server 1.7.10

I plan to run the server on my mac with max 20 players but I have no idea how to set it up because I'd like it to have plugins as well, instead of just the mod and basic commands. Could anyone help me go through how to set it up. Any help would be much appreciated.

To add I basically have no knowledge of how to set up a server.

You will need Cauldron/MCPC+ to run the mod pack with plugins however i do not recommend home hosting unless you are only using it for development
