Help with photoshop

Hello MCMarket, I have had adobe photoshop for about a month now. I have been playing around with it but I havnt been learning much. I have been also watching youtube tutorials but I havnt been learning much from them either. I have been trying to make things but I work hours upon hours and do not get anything done. If you have any suggestions on how to get better or want to help me out please reply on the thread or dm me at 1Swept#0109.

The most important thing is that you're enjoying yourself, so try not to think about it as a means to an end, but more as something you do when you want to relax.

More concrete advice - try to copy pictures and artists that you like. I'd do this quite a lot and it was great because it meant that I had similar technical proficiency to my favourite artists, and I could make pieces to the same standard if I wanted to. After awhile I'd naturally start to incorporate different elements into my work, and I found a style that I liked. You can do it too, but you've got to enjoy it!
