How much do Minecraft Servers Make?

Hi, i was just wondering how much do Minecraft Servers Make. Out of my Experience i was able to generate near 3,000$+ a month with Survival Servers. Of course i've heard that Competitive ones generated more than that. What is an average Monthly making of a successfull mc server with over 50 players? any feedback is appreciated.

Servers hardly profit much now a days if you’re a small network with not much investment; most I’ve worked on or with averaged 4-5k gross but after expenses much less
