How often should I run events on an SMP server?

I have an smp server with around 60 concurent players and run events every 2 weeks currently has anyone found if doing these other options work or if it is quality over quantity

Hey there!
I've worked on plenty of server's and here's what works best:

• Players value quality much more than quantity
• Once a month works best for big events
• Small events should be weekly (so players get used to it)

I would say 15 days of interval..
